Most of the posted articles and links are authored by Communications Intern Amanda. She is a pre-med junior at Duke University, majoring in History with a concentration on the History of Medicine, Science, and Technology. Amanda hopes to ultimately work as a part-time women’s health physician and part-time medical consultant for a women’s health organization, and she feels extremely lucky to be a part of the NARAL team this semester.
Hillary Waugh Bruce, Programs Manager. Prior to NARAL, she was a community educator at the Orange County Rape Crisis Center. She received her master’s in higher education administration from North Carolina State University. She minored in Women and Gender Studies at Elon University.
We hope in the future to have other interns, volunteers and employees post as well.
